I’m a firm believer in quality over quantity for the very simple reason that I can’t afford to be buying the same thing over and over again. For a lot of my smarter clothes, and by that I mean not the streetwear brands I like to wear on weekends, I head to Zara. The trends are always on point, its a good price point and the quality doesn’t make me angry. That said, if you go one step further to Massimo Dutti… then you will find the quality increases further. The price does go up, but it’s still relatively reasonable and for an essential wardrobe item it’s probably worth it. I found a few things on the website that i’ve now added on to my next payday list, and will hopefully last me longer than if I bought them from H&M.

Found a new blog (via Because i’m addicted) called Blame it on fashion. I am in love with these outfit posts. They are so simple (notice how plain the colours are and prints), but I love that her blonde hair and accessories make the outfits. She is called Marie Hindkær Wolthers and is now in my bookmarks and must-see daily blog!

I’m enjoying at the moment trawling though loads of websites and finding some amazing shots. Here’s what i’ve been finding:

Leica - Stockholm Streetstyle

Parka

This is such a beautiful street style shot, my favourite thing has to be the contrasting shoes. I love how this woman has playfully played with a couple of colours and stuck to them. This parka is gorgeous as well.

Kate Bosworth

This is a recent shot, I think for a new program? Anyway, as usual Kate Bosworth’s stylist has got her just right – in I think Isabel Marant. It certainly looks like it!

LBD. An amazing spin on the classic "little black dress". When searching through the internet I will find myself saving pictures that I like before realising where I found them. This shot just appeared on my desktop - so if anyone knows where it's from let me know so I can link them in. Its such a great shot (and i love the dog)

Mens Watch. One of biggest trends in AW11 has to be the Michael Kors watch. I have not been on a blog in the last 6 months and not seen a shot of someone at fashion week wearing one. In general, the big and masculine watch is bang on trend right now, and I really like particular shot (probably because it's not the generic MK one)...
